Sorry I've been bad about posting. But, I'm back! Tonight in our worship time, we will do:

Please be much in prayer for each other and our church. The evil one is out to kill, steal, and destroy, but the bible says that "all in these things we are MORE than conquerors through HIM who loves us." That is awesome. Have a blessed work day. See you tonight!

Sunday and this week...
Greetings to all!
I pray that this finds you all at the end of a good week. I apologize for not getting a post up sooner allowing you all to know our worship set for the morning. It will include, The King is Coming, hymnal # 194, Ancient of Days, Christ the Lord is Risen Today, hymnal # 159, I See the Lord , and O Come Let Us Adore Him.
I'd like to remind you all to please pray for Phil and Debbie this week as they will be marrying off their older son, Brandon, next Saturday. Weddings are wonderful times, but they can also being much stress so lift them up next week. In addition, we will not have Phil to accompany us on next Wednesday or Sunday.
Also, please prayerfully consider where your place will be as BBC rolls out our new Sunday evening schedule. We will have several bible studies to offer as well as AWANA going on. Be sure to join us tomorrow night as we meet with AWANA to kick off the new year.

No Wednesday Praise Team
Hello folks,
I forgot to mention on Sunday that I will be going out of town on Wednesday evening for a school board meeting in Atlanta. Therefore, we will not sing in the service or have a rehearsal that evening, and we will practice everything at 9AM on Sunday. I will post the worship for Sunday ASAP...this week has been crazy with getting ready for my first day of school on Friday. Please pray for me. The week of preparation has been good for me, just crazy.
Thank you for everything and I am praying for each of you.

Announcement & Thoughts on Yesterday
Hello all!
I wanted to tell you folks that I have an engagement at the GA School Board of Ed. in Atlanta on Thursday morning; therefore, I will be traveling down Wed. night and we will not have any praise team worship or rehearsal that evening; however, come on Wednesday with either your favorite Scripture to read aloud or one that has really spoken to you lately. I'll post worship info for Sunday ASAP.
Wow! Worship of our Lord through song was awesome yesterday morning! And Brother Jim's message was powerful. Why don't we see more discipling of others? ...because we are not doing it ourselves! We have to work our relationships with God Almighty first. How much He loves us and desires to be in our lives! I can't help but notice these verses form Acts 2:46-47 (46)They worshiped together at the Temple each day, met in homes for the Lord’s Supper, and shared their meals with great joy and generosity—(47) all the while praising God and enjoying the goodwill of all the people. And each day the Lord added to their fellowship those who were being saved.
God must be a daily and every moment deal. His Word says He is a jealous God-and ya know, that is a blessing to me to know that He thinks that much of me. And now, what does that mean to you?
May the Lord bless you and protect you.25 May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace.’ I love each of you and pray His blessings upon you!

Celebration Worship Set - 8.05.07
Hello fellow worshippers,
On Sunday, I have planned the following for the worship hour. However, you should notice that occasionally I will add special music in places so this may or may not be EXACTLY the same.
Please be much in prayer for Sunday. The message Jim will bring is good with its basis in Acts 2 again. We must model ourselves after the Acts church and fulfill the Great Commission which commands us to "make disciples of all nations" (Matt. 28).
God bless each of you and I'll see you at rehearsal on Sunday morning at 9AM.

WELCOME, fellow worship leaders, (that's you praise team and Phil, and anyone else who attends BBC)! Thanks for visiting the worship blog.
I wanted to give you a brief rundown of what happened tonight.

In rehearsal, we quickly ran over the song, "Forever". We also sang through two choruses for Sunday 8/5/07...

I will be completing the worship set for Sunday complete with hymns and everything. It should be up no later than Friday if you are interested in checking it out. I ask you as you check this page to be much in prayer for the service on Sunday as well as how God is working at Briarwood now. I am so excited about His leading and that He's letting me be apart of His work with you. I pray blessings upon all of you this week as you go to work and about. Remember, you are His and because of that you are awesome...holy and set apart for Him.
